Christ Unites is a service of Christ Unites LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. Christ Unites is a church communication platform that helps churches connect with their congregations through text messaging, scheduling, and related tools. Our website is joinchristunites.com.
Beyond Google Analytics, this site uses no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking cookies.
We use the information above to respond to your requests, schedule and confirm your appointments, operate the messaging service for your church, improve our website, and meet our legal obligations. Our basis for this is the agreement we have with you or your church (performance of a contract), your consent for text messaging, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We never sell your personal information.
Program name: Christ Unites Messaging
What we send: replies and follow-up about pilot applications you submit, confirmations and reminders for demos and calls you schedule, your meeting link, messages about setting up and configuring your account, and replies to messages you send us.
How consent is obtained: through an unchecked, optional checkbox on our web forms — checking it is never a condition of submitting the form or purchasing. The consent language reads:
“I agree to receive text messages from Christ Unites at the number provided about my pilot application, scheduled demos, and account setup. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers and subcontractors who help us operate the messaging service, such as our CRM and messaging platform and telecommunications carriers.
Each church's contacts and messages are held in that church's own account. One church's data is not accessible to any other church.
We do not send automated messages outside reasonable local hours, and churches can set their own quiet hours for their congregations.
Messages that appear to involve emergencies, self-harm, abuse, or medical, legal, or pastoral matters stop the automation and are routed to a human at the church. Our automation is not an emergency service and does not replace pastoral care.
You can request any of the following at any time:
To make a request, email contact@joinchristunites.com or call (513) 314-1221. We acknowledge requests within a few business days and complete them within 30 days in most cases.
We keep personal information for as long as it is needed to provide the service and meet our obligations. Records of consent and opt-outs are kept as compliance records even after other data is deleted, so that your opt-out continues to be honored.
We protect your information with encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and audit logs. We do not claim any certification or compliance badge, and no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
When we update this policy we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
